![]() Why was she enabling her? Giving her access to such strong magic? Sua clearly knew that Dami had taken the book and was using it to learn magic to overthrow Sua. Her mind was moving much faster than her body, frantically trying to figure out why Sua had given her the book in her arms, concealed beneath her cloak. Yoohyeon and Handong were behind her, Yoohyeon huddling closely to the tall girl.ĭami trailed behind, taking up the very rear of the group. Behind Gahyeon, Minji led the second half of the group with her own torch. Sua was leading with a small torch in her hands, lighting her way through the dark forest. Perhaps that was Sua’s intention with them.įollowing Sua at the front of the line was Siyeon, Gahyeon trailing closely behind her. It had sent a shiver up her spine, almost a warning to stay away. Minji still remembered the first time she had seen Sua and Siyeon wearing them. Although Sua rarely demanded they wear the cloaks, occasionally she would insist upon their reappearance. They all wore cloaks from long ago, but the fabric was still soft and easy to sink into. The seven girls marched through the woods, Sua at the head of the line. What could have possibly possessed Sua to give her most powerful book to Dami? ![]() Pulling it to her chest, Dami’s heart beat rapidly. Call it a punishment for all she had done in the past. She had boundless power, but as the book was in her possession, it had trapped her in the Dreamworld. While their nightmares and immortality remained, the ties to the Dreamworld had dissolved when the ghost hunter had created the mirror reality. In the Dreamworld, there was a certain amount of invincibility that came with the girls’ immortality. Maybe it was so bitterly cold because it was the first time they were truly stepping out into the world in decades. All they knew was that it had been a very long time. Time had always been suspended in the manor ever since the curse had befallen them. Maybe it was a result of the season, but none of the girls had any idea as to what time of year it was.
